Senior guard Jenna Ober willed Triad’s girls basketball team to a 43-40 win over host Graham on Monday in a non-league meeting.
The senior standout scored 29 of her team’s 43 points as the Cardinals improved their record to 3-7 on the season. The Falcons slip to 5-7.
The score was tied 13-13 after the first period. Graham jumped in front in the second quarter to grab a 23-17 advantage at the break.
Spearheaded by Ober, Triad mounted a comeback in the third quarter with a 15-7 effort. The senior had 10 of her 29 points in the period, which helped put the Cardinals on top 32-30.
