Chaise Boehmer, 24, of Temperance, Mich., was charged Wednesday with criminal trespass, persistent disorderly conduct and possession of marijuana.
At 8:55 p.m., officers of the Bellefontaine Police Department responded to 400 N. Elm St. and spoke with Chad Salyer. Salyer told them the suspect was intoxicated and would not leave Salyer residence.
The suspect had been drinking all day and began arguing with his girlfriend who is Salyer’s daughter. He was asked to leave four times but continued to verbally abuse the daughter and everyone else in household, Salyer alleged.
Boehmer was arrested and transported to the Logan County Jail.
While en route, the in-cruiser video system recorded his abusive behavior directed at the officer.
He argumentative and aggressive with jail staff and was placed solitary confinement.
He had early informed officers he had marijuana concealed in his pants and a plastic bag containing the drug was seized at the jail.
• Delbert K. Day, 33, of 12046 Shannon Drive, Apt. 59, Lakeview, was lodged in jail Wednesday for a probation violation.
