Calvary Christian’s boys basketball team put up a defensive battle and outlasted host Immaculate Conception 38-25 on Monday for their second win of the season.
“It was a good team win,” said head coach Lee Reinhard. “It was also nice to see our defense hold a team that normally scores 60 points per game to only 25.”
The Spartans led 19-13 at halftime and had a similar second half by outscoring Immaculate Conception 19-12.
Thomas Rorrer paced Calvary Christian with 13 points and 11 rebounds for his first double-double of the season. Isaac Reinhard and Ethan Carter both chipped in with six points.
In junior varsity action, Calvary Christian beat Immaculate Conception 32-24. Ezra Davie led the Spartans with 11 points.
