Bellefontaine’s boys basketball team was unable to get anything going Saturday as it lost to host St. Marys 65-37 in a non-league game.
The Chiefs drop to 0-11 on the season.
Bellefontaine trailed 20-12 after one quarter. The Roughriders blew the game open in the second period, going on a 24-6 run to lead 44-18 at halftime.
St. Marys went on to lead 59-25 after three periods.
Jarrid Baughman led the Chiefs with 11 points and Declan Ashcraft also made it into double figures with 10 points. Hunter Warner added eight points.
Ethan Steger led the Roughriders with 22 points.
In the junior varsity game, St. Marys won 62-30. Nolan Smith led the Chiefs with nine points and Jaeden Campbell added seven points.
Bellefontaine returns to action Tuesday at home against Indian Lake.
