Benjamin Logan’s boys bowling team picked up its first win the season Wednesday after defeating visiting North Union 2,382-1,859 in Central Buckeye Conference action at T-P Lanes.
Brady Stover powered the Raiders with games of 211 and 185 for a 396 series, Zach Boger had a 213 game and Bryce Loomis rolled a 210 game.
The Lady Raiders defeated the Wildcats 2,260-1,917. Erica Warne rolled games of 212 and 198 for a 410 series, Kaylee Nicholas had games of 192 and 205 for a 397, Addie Buckenroth recorded a 170 game and Avery Green chipped in a 142 game.
In junior varsity action, Ben Logan’s girls beat North Union 1,339-1,217. Kaylee Shafer had games of 131 and 149 for a 280 series and Autumn Dyer had a 138 game for the Raiders.
Ben Logan hosts Kenton Ridge on Tuesday for another league match at T-P Lanes.
Chieftain squads drop Warriors
Bellefontaine’s girls and boys bowling teams swept visiting Northwestern in a pair of Central Buckeye Conference matches at T-P Lanes.
The Lady Chiefs tripped up the Warriors 2,290-2,133.
Brynn Noffsinger paced the BHS girls with games of 201 and 202 for a 403 series, Kayla Watkins rolled games of 192 and 174 for a 366 series, Abby Bailey had a 179 game and a 325 series and Ashley Ehmer added a 158 game and a 312 series.
In junior varsity girls action, Bellefontaine defeated Northwestern 1,624-1,578. Macie Smith led the Chiefs with games of 131 and 148 for a 279 series and Candice Miilbaugh had a 130 game.
Bellefontaine’s boys won over Northwestern 2,677-2,560.
The Chiefs rolled baker games of 216, 197, 233, 206 for a 852 series
Beau Salyer sparked the Chiefs with a 377 series, Nathaniel Schmid rolled a 212 game and Spencer Lane had a game of 199.
The Chieftains won the junior varsity boys match with a score of 2,124. Ryan Carman led the team with a 245 game and Landon Gibbs had a 197 game.
Bellefontaine travels to Tecumseh on Tuesday for another CBC contest.
