Bellefontaine’s boys and girls bowling teams dropped host London on Thursday for a pair of Central Buckeye Conference victories.
The Chieftain boys held off the Red Raiders 2,459-2,269. Landon Gibbs powered BHS with games of 221 and 224 for a 445 series, Ryan Carman rolled games of 188 and 179 for a 367 series and Isaiah Henry had games of 171 and 195 for a 366 series.
In junior varsity action, Bellefontaine topped London 1,942-1,868. Spencer Lane led the Chiefs with games of 154 and 194 for a 348 series.
Bellefontaine’s girls handled London 2,257-1,597. Kayla Watkins led the Chieftains with games of 241 and 168 for a 409 series, Lindsey Heminger had games of 214 and 169 for a 383 series and Ashley Ehmer added a 194 game.
Bellefontaine travels to Springfield Shawnee today for another league contest.
Raiders split with Warriors
Benjamin Logan’s girls bowling team battled past host Northwestern for a 2,424-2,306 win Thursday in Central Buckeye Conference action.
Erica Warne led the Raiders with games of 247 and 235 for a 482 series, Kaylee Nicholas had games of 222 and 210 for a 432 series and Ashley Gantt had a 163 game.
In junior varsity action, Northwestern beat Ben Logan 1,620-1,553. Avery Green led the Raiders with games of 154 and 144 for a 298 series and Kaylee Shafer had game of 137.
Northwestern defeated Ben Logan’s boys 2,805-2,485 . Zach Boger led the Raiders’ efforts with games of 192 and 197 for a 389 series, Brady Stover had games of 204 and 180 for a 384 series and Timmy Porter rolled games of 184 and 172 for a 356 series.
Ben Logan travels to North Union today for another CBC contest.
