When Urban Meyer took the Ohio State coaching job last November, there was one person he wanted to meet more than anyone else.

His first priority was to find quarterback Braxton Miller, who will be counted on to lead Meyer’s spread offense.
“I just met Braxton and I wanted to meet Braxton. That was very important,” Meyer told a group of media members at his introductory press conference on Nov. 28. “And with all due respect to everybody in this room, that was the highlight of my day … not this.
“Sitting there shaking hands with that good-looking quarterback with a nice smile and who is a very humble player, I’m not using the correct adjectives. But because there’s mixed company around, I’m not going to use the correct adjectives about how excited I am.”
