Local soccer gamespostponed

Rain and the threat of storms forced the postponement of several local soccer games Wednesday.

Included in the postponements were the Bellefontaine at Benjamin Logan girls contest, the Indian Lake at Stebbins boys game and the Stebbins at Indian Lake girls game. All three have been rescheduled for tonight.

WL-Salem hosts Fun Run

West Liberty-Salem’s cross country program hosted a Fun Run on Tuesday at the Ohio Caverns. A total of 78 boys and girls in grades up to sixth competed in the race.

The Tigers’ Dylan Lauck won the race, Katelyn Stapleton was second, Owen Johnson took third, Grace Estes came in fourth and Megan Adams was fifth.
