Coming off the Jack Hewitt Classic, non-wing drivers were presented with another opportunity to take bragging rights Saturday at Waynesfield Raceway Park.
The top event of the night featured a showdown between the local non-wing sprints and the invading MTS sprints from Michigan. Top runners in the MTS traveling series were on hand for their chance to take the Waynesfield trophy north.
Scott Weir emerged from the field to win the A-Main, while Joss Moffatt earned the runner-up spot. Mike Dunlap took third, Kyle Simon was fourth and Logan Hupp was fifth.
Tyler Hewitt claimed the top spot in the first B-Main, with Adam Cruea, Mark Silva, Kevin Myers and Jeremy Powley rounding out the top five.
The second B-Main saw Luke Hall take first, Mike Miller in second, Lee Underwood in third, Jim Dues in fourth and Stratton Briggs in fifth.
