ACME ROUNDUP: Easton Water rolls past Piqua

Bellefontaine Easton Water improved its record to 2-0 on Tuesday with a 12-1 win at Piqua in Acme baseball action.

Easton Water led 6-1 after four innings. It scored two more runs in the fifth for an 8-1 lead and tacked on four more in the seventh.

Bellefontaine finished with 11 hits.

Connor Burton went 2-3 with two RBI and Sammy Martz went 2-5 with four RBI to pace the offense for the winners.

Nick Ruble was the winning pitcher. He went the first four innings before Cole Braun came on and finished off the game.

Easton Water is back in action at home today against Xenia.

Indian Lake downs WL-Salem

The Indian Lake Miller Graphics Acme baseball team defeated West Liberty-Salem 11-3 on Tuesday.

Riverside suffers loss to Anna

Riverside’s Acme baseball squad fell to Anna 12-5 on Tuesday.

Landon Kelsey went 3-4 with two doubles to spark Riverside at the plate. Trey Lane went 2-2 with a double and Tyler Sanford chipped in a pair of singles for the Pirates (0-1).
