Triad held off a late Southeastern rally to get a 5-4 victory in an Ohio Heritage Conference softball game Friday.
The Cardinals are now 12-6 overall and 8-2 in the OHC.
Triad scored three runs in the third inning and two more in the fifth for a 5-0 advantage.
Southeastern provided a scare with four runs in the bottom of the seventh, but the Cardinals were able to hang on for the victory.
Abby Ehrenborg went 2-4 with a home run and Ali Dixon and Nicole Simonelli each added two hits for Triad.
Hannah Watkins earned the win in the pitching circle for Triad.
The Cardinals host Mechanicsburg on Tuesday.
