Indian Lake grapplers in second at Wilmington

IndianLake Lakers

In what has become typical fashion, Indian Lake has made its presence known at the Division II Southwest District tournament.

The Lakers are currently in second place, have three wrestlers in the semifinals and still have seven out of nine wrestlers alive in the tournament.

Highlighting Indian Lake’s first day of action were seniors Heath Lange (145), Reyse Wallbrown (152) and L.J. Henderson (182), who all won their first two matches to reach today’s semifinal round. One more win will put them in the district final and earn them a state berth.

Graham is currently in first place with 120.5 points and has 12 wrestlers in today’s semifinal round.

The Lakers are second with 45 points, Miami Trace is third with 43.5 points, Carlisle is fourth with 43 points and Sheridan is fifth with 39.5 points.
