There are plenty of opportunities for Bellefontaine and Benjamin Logan’s wrestling teams Friday and Saturday when they compete in the Division II Northwest District tournament at Bowling Green State University.
Both squads hope an opportunity is enough to result in a state berth as this weekend is the last hurdle before the big show in Columbus.
The top four in each weight class advance to state. Wrestling begins at 4 p.m. both Friday and Saturday inside the Stroh Center.
Battling this weekend for the Chieftains are Logan Carr (106), Dylan Christman (113), Bryan Ward (120), Seth Newman (126), Chase Wilcoxon (132) and Joe Rindfleisch (182).
