Lakers fade in second half, lose to Hillclimbers 60-52

Indian Lake turned in a strong opening half, but was unable to duplicate that effort in the second half Saturday against visiting Urbana.

The Lakers led 29-27 at halftime of their Central Buckeye Conference Mad River division contest with the Hillclimbers. Urbana grabbed the momentum in the second half to take a 60-52 victory.

The Hillclimbers move to 13-4 overall and stay atop the CBC Mad River division standings at 9-0. The Lakers fall to 8-9, but remain in second place in the Mad River division at 6-3.

Christian Grider led the Lakers with 22 points. Ivan Reichert had 13 points and Cole Wurster added eight points.
