The Tigers defeated the Cardinals 73-63 in early January.

Friday’s win moves Triad’s mark to 7-8 overall and 5-6 in the OHC, while WL-Salem falls to 7-10, 6-4.

Sophomore guard Ryan Boyd gave an explosive effort on offense for the Tigers. He scored a game-high 37 points, including six three-pointers, to lead Triad.

The score was even at 10-10 after the first quarter.

WL-Salem edged Triad 15-14 in the second quarter to pull ahead 25-24 at halftime.
