Indian Lake boys want to continue to peak

Basketball

It’s that time when all basketball teams hope they are playing at their best.

Indian Lake’s boys feel they are heading in that direction, and this weekend will be a good indicator of the team’s progress.

“Our goal at the end of the year is to be playing our best basketball when the tournament gets here,” said head coach David Starr. “We feel we’ve progressed in different areas thus far. We want to build on what we’ve accomplished so far.”

Indian Lake (7-8, 5-2) opens the weekend Friday with a trip to Graham (2-12, 1-6) for a Central Buckeye Conference Mad River contest.

“We want to continue to do what we did defensively last time,” said Starr.
