The first half of the basketball season has not gone as well as Indian Lake or Benjamin Logan’s boys had hoped it would.
Both teams are looking to find a second-half surge as they enter their matchup Friday at Indian Lake in a Central Buckeye Conference Mad River division contest.
Indian Lake (4-5, 3-1) broke a three-game losing streak with a 57-41 victory over Graham last Friday. A win would be crucial in keeping the Lakers near the top of the division standings. They are currently second behind Urbana, which is 4-0 in the Mad River division.
“Any win for us right now is a good win,” said Indian Lake head coach David Starr. “Getting a conference win is big for our season and it gives us some momentum.”
