L.J. Henderson approaches sports with a hard-nosed mentality. That quality has served him well on both the wrestling mat and on the football field.
Henderson, who placed fourth in the state meet in wrestling last winter, used his aggressiveness to put together a stellar final season on the gridiron this fall.
A talented two-way player, Henderson on Tuesday was named a special mention all-Ohio selection for the second straight season.
“I am really happy for L.J.,” said Indian Lake head coach Dave Coburn. “He has worked really hard to put himself in position to receive awards like this.”
