The Huntsville under-12 soccer team recently won the Logan County tournament. The team had an undefeated record. Huntsville II wins title

Huntsville II won the championship for the under-8 county soccer tournament. Pak Mail wins final

Pak Mail beat County Classifieds 2-1 in the finals of the city soccer tournament for grades 4-5.

For Pak Mail, Quinton Neer had both goals and Erin Jackson added an assist. Tayteum Vigansky, Nick Phelps and Caitlin Hutchins played strong defense and Hayden Overly had a solid outing in goal.

Meredith McClain scored the goal for County Classifieds.


Calvary II grabs win

Calvary II lost 4-1 to Huntsville in recent county action. 

The Spartans’ goal came from Wyat Erskine. Evan Patton also had a strong game for Calvary II.


Huntsville II downs Calvary II

Huntsville II’s under-8 team won a pair of games to win the county soccer tournament.

Huntsville II beat Calvary II 4-1 in the semifinal round. Rece Kimmel scored two goals, Chase Schaub scored one goal and Kaitlyn Shaner scored one goal for the winners. Kimmel and Schaub also recorded assists. Lane Tucci lead the way in goal for Huntsville.

In the championship game, Huntsville II topped North Logan I 2-0. Regulation ended in a scoreless tie. Kimmel and Colby Borgerding recorded goals for Huntsville in the shootout, while Tucci held North Logan scoreless in goal.
