7 local players named to CBC first team

Benjamin Logan, Bellefontaine and Indian Lake were well represented on the recently released all-Central Buckeye Conference volleyball team as a total of 13 players were selected from the three area squads.

The Raiders landed three first-team selections in the Mad River division with Alex Thompson (middle hitter), Taylor Quay (outside hitter) and Jennifer Poling (outside hitter).

The Lakers had two on the MR first team with Brooke Defibaugh (outside hitter) and Sydney Miller (libero).

The Chieftains were represented on the Kenton Trail first-team squad by MacKenzie Brunswick (middle hitter) and Kameren Haley (outside hitter).

Earning special mention honors in the Mad River division were Ben Logan’s Tayler Rose (setter) and Indian Lake’s Michelle Grider (middle hitter), while Bellefontaine’s Jordan Linginger (setter) was a special mention pick in the Kenton Trail division.
