Raider CC squads take third at M’burg meet

Benjamin Logan’s boys and girls cross country squads each came in third Tuesday at the William Saxby Invitational at Mechanicsburg High School.

Cedarville won the boys meet with 32 points, Fairbanks was second with 44 points, Ben Logan was third with 59 points, host M’burg was fourth with 104 points and Urbana was fifth with 113 points.

The girls race saw Springfield Catholic Central edge Mechanicsburg 42-45 to take the title. Ben Logan’s girls were third with 74 points, Triad came in fourth with 85 points and Fairbanks was fifth with 90 points.

The duo of Wyatt Warren and Justin Jordan powered the Raider boys with top 10 finishes. Warren led the way in fourth with a time of 18:26, while Jordan came in eighth with a time of 18:49.
