Chiefs, Tigers compete at Buck Creek

Bellefontaine and West Liberty-Salem’s boys and girls junior high cross country teams recently competed in the Buck Creek Invitational.

Springfield Shawnee claimed the girls title with 53 points, Russia was second with 74 points, Cedarville finished third with 113 points, Indian Valley took fourth with 122 points, WL-Salem was fifth with 134 points, Xenia Christian finished sixth with 169 points and Bellefontaine was seventh with 198 points.

Xenia won the boys meet with 61 points, Springfield Shawnee took second with 70 points and Russia was third with 87 points. WL-Salem came in sixth with 172 points and Bellefontaine was seventh with 182 points.
