Benjamin Logan’s volleyball team made quick work of visiting Riverside on Saturday with a three-set victory 25-21, 25-13, 25-14 in a local Volley for the Cure match.

The Raiders are now 7-2 on the season as the Pirates fall to 1-7. The awareness event raised over $2,000.
“We would like to thank everyone for attending and helping both schools raise money for the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Awareness Foundation,” said BL coach Allison Reule.
Alex Thompson paced Ben Logan with six kills, two blocks and five aces, Jennifer Poling had eight kills and 10 digs, Taylor Quay had eight kills and Caitie Johnson had four points with two aces.
For Riverside, Jessica Davis had five kills, Kerri Meade had three kills and two aces, Lauryn Davis had five points, Aubrey Stephens had nine points and Sam Egbert had eight assists.
In junior varsity action, Ben Logan won in two sets over Riverside. The Raiders saw Darrian Bricker record 12 points with six aces, Autumn Walborn tally five kills and Alexia Boling added five aces.
Ben Logan travels to Springfield Shawnee on Tuesday for Central Buckeye Conference action, while Riverside hosts Botkins on Saturday in non-league action.
