Week 2 prep football wrap-up

West Liberty-Salem piled up 570 yards of offense to roll to a 56-12 win over host Benjamin Logan on Friday.

The Tigers are now 2-0 under new head coach Dan McGill.

Taylor Cordell rushed for 164 yards and Brandon Upton threw for 169 yards to spark the Tigers.

Brady Bechtel provided a highlight for Ben Logan with 180 rushing yards on 26 carries.

Parkway tops Riverside

Visiting Parkway scored early and often en route to a 63-0 win over Riverside on Friday.

The Pirates fall to 1-1 on the season.

Parkway jumped out to a 42-0 lead at halftime and never looked back. Riverside mustered only 123 yards of offense.

Triad shoots down Pleasant

Triad picked up its second straight impressive win, beating host Marion Pleasant 27-20 on Friday.

Trent McIntyre piled up 416 passing yards to lead the Cardinals.

The score was tied 14-14 at halftime and Triad outscored the hosts 13-6 in the second half to get the win.

Cougars overpower Indian Lake

Host Kenton Ridge sprinted to a 35-7 halftime lead and went on to beat Indian Lake 42-14 on Friday.

The Lakers fall to 0-2 on the season.

L.J. Henderson rushed for 103 yards for the Lakers.

Ridgemont falls to Ridgedale

Host Ridgedale turned away Ridgemont 31-14 in a non-league football game Friday.

The Gophers fall to 1-1 on the season.

Justice McGue led the Gophers with 98 rushing yards and one touchdown. He also threw for a touchdown.
