Arrows squeeze out three-set win over BHS

Tecumseh’s volleyball team won three close sets to squeeze out a win over host Bellefontaine 28-26, 25-23, 26-24 on Thursday in Central Buckeye Conference Kenton Trail action.

The win improves the Arrows to 6-2 overall and 3-0 in the CBC Kenton Trail, while the Chieftains slip to 5-2, 1-2.

Kameren Haley led Bellefontaine’s attack with 10 kills and 11 digs, Jazmyn Haley and Kenzie Brunswick each had nine kills, Carley Strzalka had 13 digs and was perfect serving and Jordan Lininger added eight digs, six kills and 24 assists.

Bellefontaine won the junior var- sity match 25-18, 25-20.

Amanda Case and Monica Martz led BHS in kills, while Savannah Bryson tallied several assists.

Bellefontaine hosts Greenon on Tuesday in another CBC matchup.

Raiders put away Falcons

Benjamin Logan’s volleyball team won a four-set match over visiting Graham on Thursday 25-14, 25-12, 22-25, 25-13 in Central Buckeye Conference Mad River division action.
