The Tigers remain unbeaten in the OHC at 9-0.

Sims finished three under par with a 32, which is a new school mark and earned him medalist honors against the Irish.

“Nick had a hot putter tonight,” said WL-Salem head coach Darrin Leichty. “His 12 putts helped him break the school record for being three under in a nine-hole match. We need to continue to be consistent ball strikers as we finish out the last few weeks of the season.”

Also for the Tigers, Kannon Stillings carded a 37, Jake Rutan had a 38, Ethan McBean recorded a 40, Dillon Callicoat had a 42 and Casey Gay shot a 43.

WL-Salem competes in the Springfield Shawnee Invitational on Saturday.

Raiders take down Lakers

Benjamin Logan’s boys golf team dropped host Indian Lake 161-179 on Thursday in a Central Buckeye Conference match at Cherokee Hills Golf Course.

Grant Ricketts fired a personal-best score of 34 for the Raiders to take medalist honors. Also for Ben Logan, Tanner Rader carded a 41, T.J. Fink had a 42 and Garrett Dunn added a 44.
