Bellefontaine’s girls tennis team picked up a win from Kenzie Collinsworth, but dropped the match against host Northeastern 4-1 on Thursday.
The Chiefs are now 1-5 on the season.
Collinsworth took a 6-4, 3-6, 7-5 victory over Lindsey Whitley at second singles in a match that lasted nearly three hours.
“Kenzie did a great job tonight with her shot placement,” said BHS coach James Howell. “When her opponent got out of position she would take advantage with a well-placed shot.”
