Laker girls set school record for nine holes

Indian Lake’s girls golf team set a new school record for nine holes Monday in a win over Waynesfield-Goshen at Cherokee Hills Golf Course.

The Lakers fired a 175 to easily defeat the Tigers, who had 230.

Morgan Barnett and Kylie Speicher both fired 38 to lead Indian Lake. Sean Pusey carded a 42, with Ashley Wall and Murphy Oberle both carding 57s.

Indian Lake faces Riverside on Friday at Cherokee Hills.
