Ganus dominates Main Event Series field at Shady Bowl

The Main Event Series super late models made their final stop of the season at Shady Bowl Saturday and gave the fans an exciting race.

A total of 16 drivers signed in to compete in the 75-lap feature. After an early crash eliminated two cars, Jeff Ganus held on as smoke blew from his racer and crossed the finish line to post his first MERS win of 2013.

Alex Rosenberry, Bud Perry, Drew Charleston and Ryan McManus filled out the rest of the top five. Marcus Malcuit set fast time with a 12.491 lap.

Josh Sage posted his second win of the season in the street stock feature. Steve Snapp claimed second, Aliza Snapp was third, Chris Abbott finished in fourth and Rob Bryant rounded out the top five. Jason Burnside set fast time with Buck Purtee winning the dash. Aliza Snapp posted the heat win.
