Bayse doubles up on wins at Shady Bowl Speedway

Brandon Bayse found his groove and refused to slow down as he came away with two feature wins Saturday at Shady Bowl Speedway. Bayse boasted a win in the late models and then went on to claim the top spot in the dwarf car Bill Hostetler Classic.

Gary Eaton of west Liberty won the Peabody Sports 30 for the tuner class.

The late model main saw Bayse take the lead on lap 15 and hold off Curt Frazier to grab the win. Frazier settled for second, Chris Abbott was third, Jerry Shaffer was fourth and Andy Peterson was fifth. Bayse was the dash winner, with the heat honor going to Peterson. Frazier was fast qualifier.

The dwarf cars competed in the Bill Hostetler Classic and saw Bayse came up big again as he held off Daniel Wirrick to take the win. Jesse Gade, Greg Sparks and Chris Hull finished second through fifth. Hull was back in action after a serious crash a month ago. Gade was the dash winner with Brian Marsh taking the heat win.
