Stanley’s Asphalt gets two wins

Stanley’s Asphalt Seal Coating won two games to start off the fall coach pitch season with wins over Zanesfield and Washington. The scores were not reported.

Offensively, Camden Tuttle went 6-8 with a home run and two doubles, Tyler Michael went 3-6 with a home run, Landen Wisener went 4-8 with three doubles, Madden Lillard went 3-6 with two doubles, Mason Tucker went 6-6 with a double and J.J. Brentlinger went 7-8 with a double.

10-AND-UNDER

The Bellefontaine Vipers recently won the 10-and-under Plain City Invitational with a 4-1 record. The Vipers tied Grove Port 4-4, beat Buckeye Valley 5-3, Grove Port 6-5, Buckeye Valley 8-3 and the Barons in the championship game 4-2.

In the first game against Buckeye Valley, Canan Stoner hit a double. In the second game against Grove Port, Alex Pulfer drove in the game-winning run.

In the semifinals against Buckeye Valley, Cameron Pulfer hit a double with four RBI.

In the championship game, Carter Reese and Alex Pulfer each had an RBI.
