A 5-0 loss to Defiance in Saturday's opening round sent Bellefontaine into the loser's bracket at the state Acme tournament in Coldwater, but Bellefontaine Easton Water bounced back with an 11-7 win over Ottawa-Glandorf on Sunday.
Bellefontaine (22-4) advances to play Tuesday night at 8 p.m. in a loser's bracket game. It will play either Lima Shawnee or Anthony Wayne.
Bellefontaine jumped out to a 9-0 lead against O-G and led 11-2 before the Titans chipped away to get within four runs.
However, Easton Water was able to hold on down the stretch to advance.
Joe Oliver started and picked up the win on the mound.
