Indian Lake was knocked into the loser’s bracket after a 3-2 loss to Triad on Wednesday. That loss seemed to hang over Indian Lake on Friday as the team fell behind 5-1 after five innings to the Falcons.

The last two frames saw Indian Lake battle back. It scored a run in the sixth to make the score 5-2.

Ty England’s RBI single in the seventh inning drew Indian Lake to within two runs at 5-3, but Graham was able to hold on for the victory.

Graham only had four hits off Indian Lake’s Jacob Hulbert, but the Falcons also benefited from four Indian Lake errors.

Eric Hess scattered seven hits to pick up the win on the mound for Graham, which plays Triad in the loser’s bracket final at noon today. The winner automatically earns a berth in the district tournament and will play Bellefontaine in the sectional title game at 1 p.m. Sunday.
