Thompson Electric blanks All-Around Awards

Thompson Electric shut out All-Around Awards for a 14-0 victory during a recent Farm League contest.

Offensively for Thompson Electric, Camron Pulfer had a home run, a double and five RBI to pace Thompson Electric. Miles Harte, Hunter Warner and Tad Slayback all had two hits, while Tanner Harte added a triple.

Slayback and Alex Pulfer combined for nine strikeouts on the mound.

Lee’s Roofing zaps Brown’s Tree Service

Lee’s Roofing earned a 16-5 win over Brown’s Tree Service in a recent Farm League game.

Offensively for Lee’s Roofing, Cole Comstock had three hits including a home run and a double, Brenneke Wilcoxon had two hits including a double, Nate Schmidt went 3-4 and Kane Adkins added a double.

McCulla’s Sew & Vac falls to Huntsville III

West Liberty McCulla’s Sew & Vac fell to Huntsville III on Tuesday.

Leading the way offensively for McCulla’s was Lance Campbell with a home run, Aaron Campbell with two triples and a double and Caleb Larson with two doubles.

Lakeview defeats Ridgeway

Lakeview Robinson’s Asphalt & Seal Coating dropped Ridgeway 13-4 in a recent Farm League matchup and improve to 8-4.

Offensively for Lakeview, Lukas Wisener went 2-3 with a home run, Brandon Villa went 2-2 with a triple and Gavin Amspaugh went 2-2.

Reid Vance recorded five strikeouts on the mound.

Washington gets two wins

Washington Seeley Farms recently picked up two wins in 12-and-under softball action after dropping Bellefontaine I 14-9 on Monday and Zanesfield 17-6 on Wednesday.

McKenzie Frost recorded the win for Washington over Bellefontaine I in the pitching circle with 10 strikeouts.

Offensively, Belle Elliott had two doubles, Alli Knapp had a triple and Alexis Stroud added a double.

For Bellefontaine I, Hara Brown had two hits and three RBI.

Against Zanesfield, Frost and Elliott combined for 10 strikeouts in the pitching circle.

Elliott also led Washington on offense with three hits including a double. Rachel Davis, Frost, Stroud, Lindsay Berg and Jessica Evans each added two hits apiece.

14-AND-UNDER

Lakeview tops West Liberty

Lakeview defeated West Liberty Acrux 18-7 in recent 14-and-under softball action.

Dierdre McGill had two hits including a triple and a double with two RBI to lead West Liberty on offense. Laura Neer, Abby Dillon and Taylor Henault all added hits.
