Base runners better be on their toes when they face Triad and catcher Maddi Ehrenborg.

“Out of 23 attempts, she threw out 19 players this season,” said Triad head softball coach Shari Dixon.

Her defensive prowess has earned Ehrenborg the utmost respect from coaches near and far. The Cardinals’ standout was recently selected to the Ohio High School Fastpitch Softball Coaches Association Division IV all-Ohio first team.

“Maddi made a huge impact on our defense,” said Dixon. “She has worked really hard to become an all-around catcher.”
