Five of the top six boys teams at last year’s state meet will be in action at the University of Dayton, while two of the top four girls teams will also be competing.

The Division II meet begins Thursday at 4 p.m. The top two finishers in each heat, plus the next four best times move on to Saturday’s finals, which are at 11:30 a.m.

The top four placers in each finals event move on to the state meet next week in Columbus.

“It’s a whole new week is how we are looking at it,” said Ben Logan boys head coach Kevin Butler. “I hope we are setting personal records. That is what I want from our guys. If we are doing that then we give ourselves a shot. If not, then it will be a short meet for us.”
