Riverside’s baseball team brushed aside visiting Southeastern for a 10-3 win on Thursday in non-league action.

The Pirates are now 17-8 on the season.
Riverside jumped out to an 8-2 lead after the second inning. Southeastern scored a run in the top of the fifth inning for an 8-3 score, but the Pirates added two more runs in the bottom of the sixth to wrap up the win.
Dalton Bollinger had a home run, a double and four RBI to power the Riverside offense. Dustin Proffitt had a triple, Conner Cotterman had a double, while Dallas Daniels, Drew Harford and Luke Greene all had two hits.
Daniels earned the win on the mound.
Riverside travels to Jackson Center today.
Arrows down Raiders
Tecumseh used some late momentum to put away visiting Benjamin Logan 6-1 on Thursday in a Central Buckeye Conference matchup.
The Arrows improve to 21-6 overall and 12-4 in the CBC Kenton Trail division, while the Raiders drop to 11-14 and 5-11 in the CBC Mad River division.
Tecumseh broke a 1-1 tie after scoring two runs in the bottom of the fifth inning to take a 3-1 lead. The Arrows extended their lead with three more runs in the bottom of the sixth inning.
Zane Collins scored the Raiders’ lone run and Trenton Harshfield had a stolen base.
Ben Logan begins sectional tournament action on Tuesday at home against Milton-Union.
Gophers bag win
Ridgemont’s baseball team rallied for an 8-6 win over visiting Ridgedale on Thursday in non-league play.
The Rockets took a 5-0 win after three innings, but the Gophers rallied to score five innings in the bottom of the third inning to tie the game 5-5.
Ridgedale scored a run in the top of the fourth frame to take a 6-5 edge, but Ridgemont came back to plate three runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to take an eventual 8-6 victory.
Isaiah Stover earned the win on the mound for the Gophers.
Offensively, Tyler Allen went 3-4, while Tyler Tillman, Stover, Lane Mitchell and Cody Ray each had a hit.
Ridgemont hosts Arcadia on Monday.
