Riverside’s baseball team overwhelmed host Lima Temple Christian for a 20-0 win in five innings Monday.
The Pirates improve to 9-6 overall and 3-0 in the Northwest Central Conference.
Jake Herron fired a no-hitter on the mound for the Pirates. Herron is now 4-0 on the season.
Offensively, Riverside pounded out 15 hits.
Dalton Bollinger had a huge day at the plate. He belted three home runs and piled up eight RBI.
Dustin Proffitt added three hits and two RBI and Ross Stevens added two RBI.
The Pirates scored in each of the five innings. They began the game with four runs in the top of the first and added two in the second, six in the third, one in the fourth and seven in the fifth.
Riverside is back in action today at Ridgemont.
