Host Springfield Shawnee used the strength of a six-run fourth inning to top Benjamin Logan 9-8 in a Central Buckeye Conference softball game Friday.
The Raiders fall to 7-5 overall and 4-2 in league play.
Ben Logan built a 7-1 lead, but the Braves exploded for six runs in the bottom of the fourth to tie the game 7-7.
The Raiders broke the tie with a run in the top of the fifth for an 8-7 lead, but Shawnee went ahead for good with two runs in the bottom of the fifth.
Offensively for Ben Logan, Courtney Stewart went 2-4, Brooklyn Terrill went 2-4 with an RBI, Sydney Evans went 2-4 with a triple and two RBI, Melina Hilty had a triple and Taylor Coy hit a home run.
