Ben Logan unable to slow down Red Devils

Tippecanoe piled up 14 hits and shut down Benjamin Logan’s offense Thursday in a 17-0 five-inning win over the Raiders.

The Raiders drop to 8-3 overall and 3-2 in the Central Buckeye Conference, while the Red Devils improve to 12-2, 6-1.

Tippecanoe led 6-0 after three innings and piled up five more runs in the bottom of the fourth inning. That gave the Red Devils an 11-0 lead. They poured in six more runs in the top of the fifth inning.

Sophomore Cole Quillen threw a one hitter for the Red Devils.

For the Raiders, Todd Coleman recorded the only hit.

Ben Logan travels to Mechanicsburg on Saturday for a non-league doubleheader.
