Local swimmers compete in YMCA meet at Miami University

A contingent of swimmers from the Bellefontaine Hilliker Heat swim team traveled to Miami University last weekend for the AA Southwest Y Ohio Swim League Championships.

Although there were several standout performances, no local swimmers were able to advance to the next round of competition.

Leading the way for the Hilliker swimmers was Morgan Henry.

Competing in the 8-and-under girls division, Henry placed sixth in the 100 individual medley, seventh in the 50 freestyle, ninth in the 25 freestyle and 21st in the 25 butterfly.
