Triad’s Faith Orecchio was the lone area player to earn a first-team spot on the recently released all-Ohio Heritage Conference girls basketball squad.
West Liberty-Salem was represented on the second team by Melany Ward.
Triad’s Dayna Ober and Nicole Simonelli both were placed on the honorable mention list.
Greeneview’s Ashton Lovely was named the OHC player of the year and earned a spot on the first team.
Making up the rest of the first team were Greeneview’s Natasha Siebenaler, Mechanicsburg’s Jamie Dodane and Springfield Catholic Central’s Paige Lewis.
The remaining second-team selections were Greeneview’s Sophie Sonneman, Mechanicsburg’s Brooke Dodane, Southeastern’s Taylor Perry and Cedarville’s Emily Aviles.
Rounding out the honorable mention list were Greeneview’s Alec Rice, Mechanicsburg’s Courtney Romero and Jordan Hux, Southeastern’s Lexi Perry and Mona Ratliff and Northeastern’s Amanda Raber.
