Former Indian Lake standout golfer Ben Schwaderer won his third career professional golf event last weekend in Moultrie, Ga.
Schwaderer, who now resides in Villa Rica, Ga., captured the title at the 2013 Pot O’ Gold Pro-Am at Sunset Country Club.
The 33-year-old Schwaderer posted a two-under-par 214 for the three-day event. He carded 71 in the first and second rounds and followed with a 72 in the final round.
Previous tournament winners included Davis Love, David Duval and Alan Doyle.
Schwaderer is the head teaching pro at Mirror Lake Golf Club in Villa Rica. He has nearly 100 members in his Performance Center training program. He credits his Logan County golf mentors Ron Kratzenberg and Keith Haley for helping form the material for his lessons.
