West Liberty-Salem's boys basketball team advanced in the Division III sectional tournament Saturday with a 55-37 win over Brookville at Tecumseh High School.

With the win, the Tigers advance to play Waynesville at 8 p.m. Tuesday at Tecumseh.

In other boys tournament action Saturday: Urbana defeated Bellefontaine 31-25, Lehman Catholic beat Riverside 63-39, Springfield Shawnee tripped up Indian Lake 66-31, Trotwood-Madison defeated Ben Logan 86-51 and Greeneview cruised past Riverside 94-53.

In a girls sectional final at Sidney on Saturday, Triad was knocked out of tourney play by Ft. Loramie 66-46.
