WL-Salem athletes compete at Capital

The West Liberty-Salem indoor track and field teams had a successful showing Sunday at Capital University.

For the boys, Alex Adams placed third in the 1,600-meter run with a time of 4:54.22 and Taylor Cordell finished third in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 8.81.

On the girls side, Meghan Vogel won the 1,600-meter run (5:26.51). Megan Etgen was fifth in the pole vault (8-6) and Morgan Freyhof was seventh in the 60-meter dash (8.47).
