Cardinals advance, Pirates fall in tourney

Triad's girls basketball team outlasted Houston 72-62 on Saturday in a Divsion IV girls sectional tournament game at Sidney High School.

The Cardinals advance to play Jackson Center in a sectional semifinal at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Sidney.

In other Division IV tourney action Saturday, Riverside fell to top-seeded Ft. Loramie 92-15.
