Benjamin Logan’s boys bowling team edged visiting Northwestern 2,717-2,637 on Tuesday at T-P Lanes in a Central Buckeye Conference bowling match.
The Warriors won the girls match against the Raiders, but a score was not reported.
Logan Wenger led the Raider boys with 212 and 210 games for a 422 series, Kam Newland rolled 214 and 199 games for a 413 series, Wes Brown had a 226 game and David Miller added a 205 game.
For Ben Logan’s girls, Danielle Jones rolled a 212 game, Alyssa Gearheart had a 167 game, Alyssa Smucker had a 158 game and Allison Cummings added a 128 game.
The Raiders compete in the CBC tournament Friday at Northridge Lanes in Springfield.
Chieftain boys get win
Bellefontaine’s boys bowling team dropped host Stebbins 2,522-2,389 on Tuesday in a Central Buckeye Conference matchup.
The Indians won the girls match 2,440-2,104.
Cody Hullinger led the BHS boys with 254 and 206 games for a 460 series, Devin Legge had 214 and 178 games for a 392 series and Alex Richards had 180 and 181 games for a 361 series.
For the Bellefontaine girls, Allie Skelly had 165 and 172 games for a 337 series and Sierra Rhoades rolled 158 and 171 games for a 329 series.
In junior varsity action, Bellefontaine’s girls won 1,557-1,298. Stebbins won the boys match 2,212-1,747.
Emily Castle led BHS with 132 and 125 games for a 257 series and McKinley Manns had a 149 game and 254 series.
Cale Sterling paced the Chieftain boys with a 155 game and 304 series and Adam Williams chipped in with a 152 game.
Cougars zap Lakers
Kenton Ridge’s boys bowling team grabbed a 3,077-2,209 win over visiting Indian Lake on Tuesday in Central Buckeye Conference action at Northridge Lanes in Springfield.
Tony Carpenter led the Lakers with a 236 game, Michael Stevens had a 214 game and 336 series and Cody Bodi had a 181 game and a 358 series.
In junior varsity action, Kenton Ridge won 2,000-1,938. Cody Dearwester paced the Lakers with a 184 game and Blake Burt had a 158 game.
