Wildcats bounce Cardinals for non-league victory

North Union’s boys basketball team controlled visiting Triad from start to finish Tuesday and came away with a 75-54 win in non-league action.

The loss drops the Cardinals to 6-13 on the season.

North Union raced out to a 23-11 lead after the opening quarter and the Wildcats led 35-23 at halftime.

In the third quarter, North Union extended its lead to 20 points at 57-37.
