Chiefs, Lakers to match up in first round of girls sectional tourney

Bellefontaine and Indian Lake will face each other twice in the span of a week after the two teams were matched up against each other for an opening-round girls sectional basketball tournament game during Sunday’s draw meeting.

The Chiefs and Lakers, who battle Wednesday in a regular-season contest, will have a rematch Wednesday, Feb. 13, at 6 p.m. in a Division II sectional opener at Tecumseh High School.

Bellefontaine received the sixth seed and Indian Lake was seeded 10th.
