Bellefontaine and West Liberty-Salem’s bowling teams split in a recent local non-league match at Southwest Lanes in Urbana.
The Chieftain boys grabbed a 2,712-2,351 win, while the Tiger girls beat BHS 2,263-2,198.
Devin Legge powered the Bellefontaine boys with 220 and 246 games for a 466 series. Alex Richards added 217 and 232 games for a 449 series and Cody Hullinger had 192 and 198 games for a 390 series.
For the WL-Salem boys, Garret Rudasill rolled a 223 game, Phil Davis had a 193 game and Justin Dallas added a 180 game.
The Tiger girls saw Codi McNutt lead the way with a 201 game. Emily Crook had a 178 game, Megann Boyd had a 164 game, Kelli Kendall recorded a 160 game and Sarah Eleyet had a 158 game.
Bellefontaine’s girls were sparked by Allie Skelly with 170 and 161 games for a 331 series. Sierra Rhoades was close behind with a 179 game and a 327 series and Christina Kinchen rolled 166 and 160 games for a 326 series. Haleigh Stafford added a 171 game and a 315 series.
WL-Salem hosts Piqua on Tuesday and Bellefontaine travels to Stebbins on Tuesday for a Central Buckeye Conference match.
